Radiate is a training programme which provides the first step in professional development for artists and other creatives across the West Midlands interested in working with children and young people. The scheme is designed to provide participants with valuable experience of working within schools, supported by staff and provides an employer led model of training.

 

 

 

 

The scheme is primarily aimed at recent arts graduates, current MA students and professional artists who may be interested in this area of work but who currently lack the skills and confidence to deliver work in schools.

 

We also wish to actively encourage applications from other 'creatives' as well, and past applicants to the previous 'Creative Apprentices' scheme included landscape gardeners, shoe designers, stage set designers. If you feel that you have experience in creativity that can be shared with children and young people, then we would like to hear from you.
